What state are you in? Every state has a different way of getting transcripts from closed schools.

I live in Washington State. I find Washington State Commission of Higher Ed?
Did anyone ever attend metropolitan Business School in Bremerton Wa in the late 80's. They were sort of fly by night.

Ok, this one is a little tricky. When I did a search for the school located in Colorado, I got this: Incorporated by Michael Schledorn, William E. Winger, Joe E. Lee, Richard Lamm, Commonwealth International University, Inc. is located at PO Box 441000-124 Aurora, CO 80044. Commonwealth International University, Inc. was incorporated on Tuesday, February 24, 1998 in the State of FL and is currently not active.
This means your transcripts could really be in 1 of 3 states: So contact all of them until you find it. I would start with Montana because that is where you took the course and they should have turned them over to Montana however they could also be in Colorado and Florida too. If you don't have success let me know and I will dig a little harder.

My wife wants to return to school, but the college she attended in the 1970's is now closed and she needs her transcript. Is there a clearinghouse that keeps transcripts from defunct institutions? How do we get a transcript from a closed school?
Thanks!
