    Add progressive lenses
After getting my eyes examined by an opthomoligist and having lenses made... I was not secure with the testing or results. I next went to an optometrist who came up with a different prescription. I am a Varilux Physio 360 wearer. The second prescription lowered the add my reading from 3.00 to 2.50. I am having difficulty reading and am wondering how lowering the add might improve my reading. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Lowering your add WON'T help you read better unless that's actually what your eyes need. And it wasn't. So go back and say that you want your old prescription back. How long since they changed the prescription?
