Several people wanting it but no one ever came back or called back after going to the office were the park managers are to fill out an application and do a background check:confused  well my uncle that is a pastor of a church brought some friends of his over to look at the mobile home we are trying to sell well I told them they had to be approved to live on the property and I can't sell it to them till then so they went to the office to get an application and do all the stuff they need to do but the people in the office started telling them I don't own the mobile home to sell it and so on and so on I guess I know why everyone else backed out of the deal know!! So I went up to the office to confront them and show them the title and that I do own it only one girl was there at the time so when I asked her about it she said she didn't know what was said she didn't hear them talking so I came home and then the other woman from the office called me and said you better watch how you talk to me and what you say to me I told her she needs to stop lying about me ownibg the home she starting telling me to watch myself and so on... what can I do about this??

Inform your local housing authority that your landlord is preventing you from selling your home.

Or you could show the original title to the prospective buyer of your home and advise them that the manager of the park is a liar and you do in fact own the home and can sell it.

I've never heard of such a thing that a park manager can tell lies like that and get away with it. Are they looking to somehow have you abandon your home so they can come in and seize this home as abandoned property? Do you know who the owner of the park is? Have you tried contacting them via a letter informing them of the park manager's behavior? If you do contact the owner, I would suggest you couch your letter in very nice terms as you can definitely get further with honey than with vinegar. Just the facts would be suitable leaving out any kind of emotions.

If you are looking to move elsewhere you should be able to sell your home with park approval. Park approval is usually done with a credit background check and a criminal felony check. This is fairly uniform procedure all over the US. Unless the potential buyers you had were felons or had terrible credit problems the park manager would be in deep doo doo for denying them approval to live in the park.

If the people your pastor brought over will testify as to what they were told in the office, then you have a cause of action against the person in the office and maybe the park owner if he was aware of or instigated the lies.

I would NOT under any conditions refer to the landlord or the people in the office as liars. But I would show any prospective buyers the title and mention to them that anything that hear about you not being able to sell is inaccurate.

The people the pastor brought, were they given an application or was it refused? This just gives you more ammunition for your suit if they were refused.
