    Gas valve cross reference chart
    Where can I find a cross-reference chart for a B57RBA601 valve

No valve of that number listed in all the info I have. Post brand and model number of valve and the brand and model number of the equipment it is on and I will check from there.

Here is a web site for you. If anyone has something for that 1960 era furnace they will. They show a gas valve replacement and a motor for your unit. Call them for parts. If it were me I would not be fixing it since it is way over the time when due for replacement and other parts you may need might not be available at all. Hit search below.

I agree with hvac1000. With a unit that old, even though there may be some universal parts, such as gas valves, etc, you are dumping money into a dying horse. Of course, this is your choice, but I would certainly start putting away for an upgraded system in the near future. Good luck and please let us know how things work out.
