    Don't know what the official procedure is but when I address and send an email to someone new, that address stays in my address book or in other words, the second time I write to that address, it comes up. But if the person's name was not at least a part of their address I would probably be out of luck,

    Its not called Outlook.com. In the upper left corner next to where it says outlook, there is a pull down. Pull it down and select People
