    2001 dodge durango 4.7 motor over heating
    It over heated in 5 minutes thermostat is still good.

    The radiator may need replacing, due to corrosion and/or phosphate scale blocking passages. Afterwards, refill with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water.
