AC/Heater Vacuum Diagram for 1999 chevy express 1500 van 6 cyl.
Okay, there's 3 switches on dashboard, 1st one is for blower speed which blower motor & resistor are working Fine, 2nd one is for switching the temperature which operates a Electric Actuator blend door and its working Fine, 3rd one is for switching the air flow to either defrost, down to feet, vents at chest level, or a mixture of these three and also ac & max ac, the 3rd one is not operating the air flow it is stuck blowing at the feet and defrost, this switch operates a Vacuum Actuator which operates a door to direct the flow, I pulled the hose off this actuator & Im not getting any vacuum here so Im assuming something is plugged or broken somewhere. Im trying to find a vacuum diagram so I can back trace & find the leak, any help would be appreciated, Thanks Glenn D.

    Now a new problem
Thank you for the diagram, I first found a kinked vacuum line which out of the pcv valve went to the manifold and from there went down to a plastic round tank by the battery, but in between the manifold and round tank there was a small line going to the heater core. The heater core has 2 small black vacuum lines and one line went to the hose that was kinked, so now the acuator doors are working fine but now the second vacuum line from heater core was disconnect and I found that it hooked up to the heater core water valve, but when I hook it up my "check engine soon" light comes on immediately and when you drive at 40 - 55mph you get this hard jerk or kick feeling when you ease off the gas pedal and the engine code reads "camshaft position sensor", I installed new spark plugs & wires about 9 months ago and installed new distributor cap, new rotor & new camshaft position sensor about 1 month ago but the code is reading the camshaft sensor and I think its still somewhere in the vacuum line, any help is very much appreciated, Thank You Glenn D.

If you are hoping Captain Rich will see this you should copy/paste and put it back on the end of you old post. Otherwise it is only by chance for you to continue to talk with him.

I would begin by reviewing the exact routing for each of those lines. It's very easy to cross them. This might need to get into the hands of someone there locally to verify every thing is as it needs to be.
