    Stop my squeaking drawer!
On a new armoir that I have, there is one drawer that squeaks everyime it opens and closes. I am not sure how I should make that stop. It is wood on wood, so I can't imagine WD-40 would help at all.

    Any ideas?

Regular bar of soap rubbed on the rails/guides is effective usually.

I might try a candle? In the Electrical Trade we use "Slip Stik", it is a wire pulling lubricant, that is like thin wax? I would use that due to availability. Know an Electrician?

I always used just plain bar soap for sticking doors or drawers.

I used to use parowax, but it doesn't come in bars any more, just little miniature smarties.

I have always used Bees wax or bar soap. Trouble is I have not had a bar of soap in the house for years. The candle wax idea does also work. Looking over the posts you got all the best ideas, time to go try one or two.

Polish on the runners is fine, a bit like curtain tracks, great for that as well.
