    Semen and Sperm Count
    Hello Team,

    Regards to SEMEN Analysis Report:

    Recently I have a undergone a Semen Analysis and below is the test result. Please review and advice if everything is normal or do I need to undertake any treatment.

    Report Details:

    Period of Abstinence is 3 days,

    Chemical Examination -
    Seminal Fructose - PRESENT +

    Sperm Motility -

    Grade A - Rapid Progressive 50%
    Grade B - Slow Progressive 35%
    Grade C - Non Progressive 10%
    Grade D - Dead Sperms 05%

    Sperm Morphology -

    Oval Forms ( Normal ) 55%Double Head 10%
    Giant Head 20%
    Amorphous Forms 05%

    Other Microscopical Findings -

    Pus Cells (WBCs) 8-10/hpf
    Epithelial Cells Nill
    Round Cells 1-2/hpf
    Erythrocytes (RBC ) Nill
    Clumping Absent

    Fertile Sperm Count

    Total Motile Sperm Count 23 Millions

    Why were you doing count? But the doctor who ordered the test should be reviewing it with you.

    As the others have said, it would be best to discuss the results with your doctor. Did your doctor go over the numbers with you? Count, movement, and shape numbers are within the norm. Certain medications, smoking, poor diet, and overall health/lifestyle can play a role in sperm health. Something's you may not have control over, but you can be sure to eat well, stay well hydrated, exercise, avoid smoking, etc. All the things you know would be wise to improve your general health, can also impact your sperm health. Your doctor would be the one to advise you if anything more than perhaps some lifestyle changes may be in order.

    So when is your follow up visit to your attending physician, to get an explanation for the lab results and ask/get answers to your questions, and get a plan to proceed?
