Researchers have discovered what was obvious ;natural immunity is the best defense.

Researchers use challenge trials to understand infections and quickly test vaccines and therapies. In March 2021, after months of ethical debate, UK researchers launched the world’s first COVID-19 challenge trial. The study identified a minuscule dose of the SARS-CoV-2 strain that circulated in the early days of the pandemic that could infect about half of the participants, who had not previously been infected with the virus (at that time, vaccines weren’t yet widely available).
In parallel, a team led by Helen McShane, an infectious-disease researcher at Oxford, launched a second SARS-CoV-2 challenge study in people … who had recovered from naturally caught SARS-CoV-2 infections, caused by a range of variants. The trial later enrolled participants who had also been vaccinated.
When nobody developed a sustained infection, the researchers increased the dose by more and more in subsequent groups of participants, until they reached a level 10,000 times the initial dose. A few volunteers developed short-lived infections, but these quickly vanished.

Herr Doctor Fauci will be on the hot seat today being grilled by the House Covid investigation. We now know that he lied to Congress and to the American people about his role in the development of the covid virus . We know it was not natural .It was the product of gain of function research his agency funded at the Chinese Wuhan laboratory.

We now know he gave false and misleading advice to President Trump about pandemic policy choices. We now know that he led a misleading public information campaign and demonized skeptics as being science deniers and conspiracy theorists .

He lied to the public about masks ;social distancing ;the needs to shut down schools ;and the vaccine's effectiveness.

We now know he led a cover up

The Dems mostly defended him . But now some of them are admitting the truth.

But now, in an unexpected twist, Democrats on a House investigative panel are starting to join their GOP colleagues in questioning whether government-backed scientists were fully transparent about controversial virus research and whether a longtime adviser to Fauci skirted public records requests.

This newfound Democratic skepticism will be put to the test on Monday when Fauci will testify about whether he was honest about government involvement in risky virus experiments. The testimony, Fauci’s first public appearance on Capitol Hill since he left government at the end of 2022, comes amid a broader reassessment by Americans about how the government handled the pandemic and the debate over the disease’s origin......
Democrats canonized Fauci during the pandemic, while Republicans vilified him.

Glad the Dems are beginning to see the light. I advise them to remember their mantra of the last few years ....... 'no one is above the law'

More accurately stated, "No republican is above the law." Weirdly, H Biden will be convicted of offenses only slightly above silliness while Fauci will walk away a wealthy man.
