    Ejector Pump?
I am new to this website, but have read some of the questions and answers and find it helpful.

I just had my basement finished and had a bathroom (toilet, shower, sink) installed. They are all connected to the ejector pump pit. We replaced/upgraded the ejector pump the builder left for us as well. My problem is every time it rains the ejector pump seems to go off every 10 minutes. The pit is filling up with rain water but shouldn't the rain water be draining to the sump pump?

    Confused, please help

Rain water should not reach the sewer ejector so something is wrong. Can you see the rain water enetering the pit via an inlet pipe? Is that the same pipe your sewage enters? Back to you
