Moving the laundry room to the basement
Hi kids, I need to remodel my kitchen and the first thing to do is to move the washer and dryer out of its current location and into the partially finished basement. My main concern is the gray water coming out of the washer. Since it is located below the current drain how does the dirty water from the washer get to the drain? Is there a pump I need to add to the discharge? I have electricity down there and the dryer vent isn't a problem, I just want to do the right thing with the gray water. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Check out Saniflo pumps and ejector systems at; http://www.saniflo.com.au/
They have systems for a full bathroom down to anything you wish to install and pump up to a sewer. Good luck, Tom
