Plastic anchor comes out of the masonry
Drill a 3/16 hole in the masonry. Put in the plastic anchor. Attach a small piece of
Wood with a screw the length of the anchor the anchor pull out of the masonry. The total weight was only 5 oz

Go to your home center and buy a metal tie bolt that will fit your current hole, once it's installed it will not pull out. If you can't find the correct size move up one size and enlarge your hole.

That would be an anchor bolt instead of a tie bolt.

    Hi Pastor1189

About the only time these fail is when the hole is drilled too large. Either get a new drill bit and keep the hole(s) tight, or switch over to better system like tapcon screws... see image. Tapcon screws need to be drilled first and then simply screw in the screw... will hold walls up!

Lead anchors work well in masonry.

Did you install this anchor in a ceiling or on a wall?
