    Electrochem oxidation and reduction potentials?
So in my honors general chemistry class, we are discussing electrochemistry and my question is how to calculate standard redox potentials. Usually, there is a chart giving the oxidation/reduction potentials and to find the standard cell potential you add the oxidation cell potential with the reduction cell potential. But my question is how chemist create the charts, themselves. How they calculate each reduction or oxidation cell potential.
