Hello to whoever answers this message!

I'm new to this website - and I need help with some Itune and Quicktime problems I have.

For the record, I've seen this question asked, but couldn't view the answer (my brain is fried)... so I'm sorry if I'm repeating something unnecessarily.

Itunes problem: I've been away for 3 weeks and on my return I find Itunes won't load on my computer. I get an error message saying it encountered a problem and will be shutting down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled - but the problem continues each time I try to open it.

Before my 5 hour computer marathon problem started today, I couldn't open saved files from my I-Pod, because My Computer wouldn't recognise that my I-Pod was connected (since resolved... somehow... )

Quicktime: This issue is connected, I'm sure. I get to a certain point in my installation of Itunes, and it says I don't have Quicktime and it won't run without it.

I couldn't uninstall Quicktime originally, but have since been successful (after hours of frustration and web searching). I've now downloaded the latest version of Quicktime and it works. But... Itunes still won't open.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone with any knowledge or experience with resolving this problem.
