I have a satellite receiver and satellite internet service but no home phone line due to the poor quality of phone service in my rural area. However I am currently paying an extra $10.00 a month because the satellite receiver is not connected to a phone line on my satellite bill. I am told I can change this if I connect the receiver to the internet line but I do not know what I need or how to do this. I would like info on how to do this for both a wireless router and standard connection internet line and what type of items I would need. (enough info to be able to confidently order or buy the items I need without excess spending or hoping it will work.

Thank you for your assistance.

You just need a duel phone jack, called a wireless modem jack, you can get them at radio shack for about $30. If you have dish network you can order it through them for $39.99 (or if you ask real nice, you might be able to get it for free). It's pretty simple, but if you need any more help with it, just ask!
