My son has a Portuguese passport through his father. I am planning to travel to New Zealand with him and need to find out whether he needs a visa. The websites that I have looked at say that Portuguese passport holders do not require visas if they have the right to residency in Portugal. Does having a Portuguese passport automatically entitle you to residency?
