Hi Folks, I am new to this board but looks great. Here is my question: I have hyperpigmentation under my eyes which makes me look tired all the time. Well, being African-American has made this topic very sensitive because I choose not to wear make-up. I am medium complexion (Will Smith shade) but got Micheal Jordan shade dark spots.

I get plenty of rest and no drug use; in short, I am healthy outside of looking like I got tar under my eyes.

I've read about several products such as monobenzone and hydroquinone. Is there any side effects I should be aware of and does this stuff work?

I am considering both on a trail basis in the 5% to 20% range. I would apply just in the target area and nowhere else. Surgery is another option but it looks evasive and costly. Thanks in advance and this is not a joke or sale pitch. I just want to have an even tone face.

are you male or female? if you're female just get some concealer and save yourself the hassle.

Hi hunny, ihave the same problem, the darkness under my eyes is heredetary.. the easiest way i found to reduce it was to use natural ingerdients like tomato cucumber ect, just rest them on your eyes once a night and you will see a difference. there are also creams you can get for this x

Hmmm, I am male and a concealer is not a likely choice for me. Thanks
