I have connected a cannon mx700 all in one printer/fax with my iMac osx computer using a usb cable.

I have a comcast "triple play" combination digital cable, high speed internet & digital phone connected to a cable line & my phone land line.

I have successfully printed but am unable to fax. I have tried connecting the standard phone line from the cannon to a triple splitter in the wall jack.

I hope someone can sort this out for me. I wasn't able to get help from apple, comcast or cannon.
