Noma Timer Model #Td1000

I have a Nova timer and have lost the maual. There are 5 buttons on it, Time Mode Hour Minute and Program. How do I set it?

The exact same timer is branded under the Woods name.

The instruction sheet / manual can be found at

The only thing it doesn't mention is to plug it in for a while to get it going at first.
