Okay, I am currently in a medial assisting program and when I have completed my externship, I will take the state boards and be an RMA. However, I heard that RMA's and CMA's are different. If that is true, what is the difference and should I even waste my time.

Here's what Im looking to do: I would like to do blood draws, injections, vitals, charts, etc. I do not want to be a receptionist, paper pusher. I will not go to school for this long just to become a glorified receptionist. Also, if there IS a difference, what is the paygrade differenece?
