Hello experts!
Only just discovered this site and I am very excited as I've been trying to remember a film I saw as a kid in the 80's/very early 90's on about Christmas time. I can only remember a few scenes, but it was definitely quite scary. It involved a teen boy and teen girl in the real world and about 5 or 10 minutes into the film, they fall down the edge of hill/cliff and slide/roll down a snow covered hill/mountain thing (possibly on a wooden door?) in an accident and then ending up in some sort of fantasy word with big black creatures that stomped around and were destroying this fantasy world place. Obviously the kids save the day, then return home to worried parents.
Sorry this is such a rubbish snippet - it's been bothering me for years and as each year goes by I remember less and less about it. If anyone has any idea about what film this could be, I would be eternally grateful.
