I want to get an Automatic Base Honda Fit, and on the website it says the price for the Automatic transmission is $14,750 (by it it says: MSRP excluding tax, license, registration, $670.00 destination charge and options. Dealer prices may vary.)

I have heard that I can get a price lower than the MSRP, and others tell me I can't.
What is a proper price I can negotiate for? It also says (On the homepage) $13,950: Suggested Starting Price (MSRP excluding tax, license, registration, $670.00 destination charge and options. Dealer prices may vary.)

I just want to know what kind of price I should be looking for before I talk to the dealer.
