Hello! Up until now, my hair used to be all over PLATINUM blonde. I recently had my hair dresser dye my whole hair (except for a few peices) this dark purplish brunette color. I had her section out a few of my blonde pieces so I would still have some blonde highlights. Well, when she washed my hair (with cold water), the dark purplish color faded onto my blonde highlights and the blonde then looked like a very light purple/pink color. So, she re-bleached the blonde pieces again to bring the blonde back up. That did work. However, about a week later, I washed my hair and the SAME thing happened! When I contacted my stylist about this, she basically gave me NO hope and said that there was nothing she or anyone else could do to fix this problem. She said, "We're just ganna have to dye your whole head dark purple because the blonde just wont stay in." I just don't buy that. It's very frustrating. How do I keep this from happening? Also, do you have any tips on how to keep the dark purple color part of my hair lasting longer? It has faded quite a bit too... with just one wash since I got it done.
