Please, please, please help!

Everything was fine until about a week ago, when my system was attacked by a virus, which shut it down although it failed to get it. Anyhow, I've cleaned and checked everything, and my AV & firewall have kept everything out, luckily. Except...

...my office 2003 (outlook) now won't remember my password and I have to input it manually each time. I've reloaded Office, deleted and renewed the accout, and tried the fix where I strip out the registry key and change the permissions.

Any ideas?

Many thanks, in advance...

Hi bigbamboo,

To verify that there are no viruses on board, go to: http://sarc.com/ Scroll down and click on,"Free Online Virus and Security Check" Write down exactly anything it finds, then return to: http://sarc.com/ and do a search for what was found. Symantec usually has a removal tool and/or directions for manually removing.

Please see the following site for information:

Hope this helps!
