Living in the country can be beautiful, but the drawback is not having DSL or Cable. The only thing I can use is my phone (dial up) to go onto the WWW. I just purchased a new laptop and it has High Speed Wireless built in. It says it is LAN 802.11b/g. Does this enable me to get something (a router perhaps) so I don'thave to connect a phone cord to sign on, and will I be able to get online from anywhere in my house without tracking down a phone line?

Am I confused? What do I need to get to be able to use my laptop anywhere here in my home? Can someone explain all of this to me and tell me what I need??
