    Purchasing A laptop
    I would like to purchase a new laptop computer but, I need the laptop to have 8GB (Gigabytes) of memory, does anyone know of any company or anyone that can build a laptop with 8 Gigabytes of memory ? Thanks.

    As of right now... I don't think any commercial manufacturer makes a laptop with 8 gb of memory... I think the max you can do is about 4.

    You'll need to be running 64 bit versions of Vista or XP in order to make use of anyhting over 4 GB of RAM. What OS are you planning to run?
