Is it safe to get a tattoo while pregnant?
I'm well over due my next tattoo and I'm itching to get one, but various artists have told me you either can or you can't... my own artist was going to do one on me, so now I'm a bit sceptical of trusting him or not... I'm 17 weeks into my pregnancy.

Congratulations to you! I hope that you are looking forward to your new child.

Be safe and wait on the tattoo. There are potential risks: Hepatitis, chemicals in the ink... and maybe other things.

Take this time to prepare for your new child... you've only got a bit more than 4 months to go.

That is my humble opinion. Stay tuned: I bet that there will be more answers that you can consider.

I agree with RickJ... wait for it.

Personally I think, since there are risks, and you know of them, it'd be selfish to do it.

Welcome to motherhood though-- where babies come first ;-)

So now, adviceishere, all you have to do is pick a name.

Either Rick or mudweiser will work...

But I think Rick would be better :) :D :p

Hehe, you can't fault me for trying, right?

    Here are some other options:

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Sarah, Molly, Maria, Big, Little.

Those are the names of my kids.

I will confess, though: John is a dog, Big and Little are cats. The rest of them are my human kids :) .

I quite like Big. But I would only name it Big if it was little, or Little of it was big. Just so it wouldn't make sense :P I like things to not make sense

Wait on the tattoo. You know there are risks, some of the risks could be passed on to your baby in utero.

Most artists will not do them on pregnant women. Best to wait... no sense in taking a risk if you don't have to... :)

Get one later to symbolize your transition to motherhood! In honour of your new baby... :)
