Non-hyper ADHD would be ADD (without the H which stand for hyper). Do you takes meds? Why would the tutor quit?

True42, WG knows what she's talking about. I'm more inclined to trust a librarian, author, and member of mensa, than I am to trust a 13 year old girl that doesn't even know how to spell hyper.

My son has ADHD (Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder)

    You have ADD (Attention-deficit disorder)

    See the difference?

So your diagnosis is ADHD, for which you take medication?

You may want to talk to your doctor. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right medication.

My son has ADHD, on medication he is able to concentrate and do very well with all subjects. Without the medication he is hyper and not able concentrate very well, but we have been working with him and he now only takes the medication during the school year, and we've been able to cut his does in half.
