    Buying above ground pool
Has anyone actually had any luck buying an above ground pool. My husband and I are buying a 24' that is at least 3yrs old and from what I have been reading it doesn't sound like anyone has had any good luck doing this.
I have read that you have to replace linner, has anyone not had to? Also read that the bottom track has to be replaced, again has anyone not had to and if you have is the track expensive to replace. Any advise appreciated. Thanks!

The liner will need to be replaced if you are moving the pool to your home. It might not be brittle yet but it is stretched out and will not go back in place without wrinkles. The liner will run about $200. The bottom track may not need replacement if it was set on aggregate or sand. If its been in direct contact with the soil replacement is more likely. Most people who decide to get rid of their pool will just give it away just to be done with it.
