What Rhianna and Lil Kim are using.
From the research I have done, the experts are pointing to mequinol. Because they have that super light complexion, but still have bronze undertones, unlike Benoquin which depigs. It burns like hell when not used with tretinoin and can damage your skin, also to prevent the skin from getting darker from the mequinol.
I can't find a place online that sells the Solage so I think I am just going to guy the Mequinol and combined it with my tretinoin I already have.
EDIT: scratch that, I found a site that sells Solage... but I'm not paying 90.00 so I'll just make my own.

What's tretinoin? Where can you get this and what does it do?

Tretinoin is a vitamin-a-derivative. It peels the skin and allows other skin lightening agents to penetrate better.

I've been trying for ages to figure out what Lil Kim is using, they said it wasn't Benoquin because she's not depigged obviously and its too even to be high volumes of HQ, and they both still have bronze undertones so they suspect mequinol which is a depig agent but nothing like mono. But no one really knows as they have not come out and said. But it is worth a try.

I think their bronze undertones are due to make up to be quite honest...

Which company are you referring to?
Dessaml, I thought Mequinol will burn the skin even if you use tretinoin or not? How much has the mequinol lightened your skin so far?

Thanks Maharani. I have seen this site before, is it a reliable site and do you need a prescription? Well, I guess we will know Dessaml's progress with the mequinol in a few weeks or so. Do you think the burning will eventually subside or will it continue through it's use?

Meq its like HQ, there are different percents, for what I am trying to accomplish I will be buying 2%... 10% is waaaaaaaay too strong

They are reliable. You will need a prescription for the mequinol but you can obtain it from them by answering a few questions and they will charge you for it once your prescription has been agreed.

Mequinol is the depigmentation agent, 4-Methoxyphenol is the IUPAC name. It's the monomethyl ether of hydroquinone and an isomer of guaiacol. Maybe adding a good oil like olive oil, sweet almond, or coconut oil will help lessen the irritation?
Mequinol - wikidoc
