    Calculating dividend amount
    Betty and john martinez own 220 shares of exxonmobil common stock. Exxonmobile's quarterly dividend is $1.40 per share . What is the amount of the dividend check the martinez couple will receive for the quarter?

    They own 220 shares and they're getting $1.40 per each one share...

    No different than buying 3 candy bars that cost $.90 each. How would you figure that one out?
