    457 deferred compensation employee calculation
    For an employee, is their deferred comp calculation based on earnings only or earning - before tax deductions.

    Employee makes 1000 gross pay. He has $50.00 Before tax Health deduction. He contributions 10% to deferred comp. Is the employee's calculation based on 10% of $1000.00 = $100.00 or 10% of $950.00 = $95.00
