Communism vs Islam THE WAY OF LIFE i.e. Social system of justice
Dear Brother , Salaam Alykum Waa Rehmatullah !
As subject well depicts my question which I would like to raise here. One of my friend has serious influence of communism / marxism, linen... though he is born muslim but not practicing really BUT also do not deny creator means is not totally atheist communist.
Alhamdulillah I have been able to convince him about brutal & cruel history of communism & millions of innocent to humanity and harun yahya videos & notes helped in doing so. Though now he is not really giving it too much projection after all that info I passed on to him BUT still have a question... his question is, if islam is social system of justice & better than communism... can you answer that how Islam is the WAY OF LIFE in terms of political, social & economically and how it furnishes such a system which provides justice. I request comprehensive answer , article or book , Jazak-Allah khair !
Wassalam !

Atheism has no relation to politics by the way and is a perfectly acceptable way of life.

Yes, athisem can be referred as religion (may be) OR emotional notion BUT surely can not be referred as WAY OF LIFE because its only Deen which can provide same. Islam is Deen not reliogion and defnition of Deen is it comprises of worships & sociao political economic system of justice.
Even if you go into deltails of religion then atheism has not match because if we said to be animals only then who revealed / inspired to them... is there something which tells these animals how to live or there are built in gestures etc who drives them. For religion there has to be some revelation, isn't it.
Wassalam !

I think you will find that communism has failed because it was an entirely negative thing, it was against the systems of it's day and did not provide a way for humanity to progress above the basic needs. So a way of life has to provide for all the needs of the individual, not just spiritual, not just existence. Religion is of it's nature focused on the spiritual and there are good reasons it should not intrude into the political, social and economic life of the state which is focused on satisfying needs. We have seen time and time again how when the state is controlled for religious purposes this has led to very real travisties in social justice. This is because the individual cannot be trusted to exercise secular power from a religious base. Man too quickly assumes the prerogatives of God. There must be balance and religion provides a counter-balance to secular power.
One thing Islam and communism have in common is totalitarian thinking, only one system of thought is allowed to exist at any time, neither has demonstrated an ability to co-exist with other philosophies or religions without assuming a dominance through force. Therefore as a way of life I think it lacks the system of justice you find so appealing

I don't need to watch a doco so obviously muslim oriented to know the facts; fourteen hundred years of tyanny speaks for itself in the case of Islam, just as seventy years of tyanny spoke for the communist experience. Islam is a very intolerant religion and becoming increasingly so as it rubs up against western culture. It tolerated Jews and Christians by taxing them and making them second class citizens, not by showing true tolerance

I think they are miles apart ISLAM is far right wing conservative, not allowing anything to change while COMMUNISM is far left socialism where anything is allow to progess the state.
Communism in recent times has found it has to have an appeasement with capitalism while capitalism in the form of private ownership exists in Islam
