    Swimming is fitness. Running is fitness. Weight lifting is fitness. Aerobics is fitness.

    All of these are appropriate for a 12 year old.

    I think that woman should be given the shaft! This is so NOT appropriate to a 12 year old, not even to a 16 year old.
