White mites on NGI
Hello,
I found some white mites with a black spot in the back on my NGI stems.
I want to know what is the name and what type of mite it is.
I can see it with my hand magnifiger glass (used in horticulture).
Thank you.

Two questions:
1) Can you take and post a picture?
2) What are NGI?

I just took some photos through the magnifier glass- the best I could do. I donīt see an option to post photos here, how can we do to get you the photos?
With NGI I mean New Guinea Impatiens. Mites are found in the stems and not the leaves.
Thank you.

The most common mites on impatiens seem to be either spider mites, which are often the two-toned colors you mentioned, or broad mites, but those seem to head for the leaves.
Here is a pic of spider mites on an impatiens. The website seems to be having trouble posting photos in its mobile app. Anything look familiar?

These are not spider mites. After inspecting several stems I realized they donīt all have the black spot in the back. These mites are white, can be seen with a magnifier glass, weīve found them on stems and not on leaves. They do look like cyclamen mites but I read you can see these only with the help of a microscope??

Great Picture! Huge, but a great picture.
Regardless, if you wish to be rid of them, check this link as it indicates that control measures for most of the species we've been discussing are essentially the same.

Thank you for the information.
Can you or anyone identify the mite type? I need to know the name.

You may be looking at a predatory mite hunting cyclamen mites.
